I was always very annoyed that my Harris bipod would swivel even though I had the knob tightened all the way down. But this unit is really cool because it gives you leverage to keep it tight and actually hold the gun in place. I know that Harris offers a locking lever from the factory and/or as an add on. But, this one is cool because it has a clutch in it that allows you tuck the knob upwards after you get it tight. Definitely a cool little piece!
